You likely already have a workflow in place for managing incoming leads, whether they be from your configurator, your website, or walk-in traffic. You may reach out to anyone who saves a design. Or you may only reach out to customers who request contact. Regardless, you can use SalesView to support that workflow by assigning a status to each incoming lead.

SalesView has five default lead statuses:

If you have an existing sales pipeline workflow, you can use a custom status that may align more closely to your existing workflow.

<aside> ℹ️ Note that currently you cannot save custom statuses, but we will investigate this as an area for future improvement.

In the example below, we have applied two different custom statuses: “Trying to reach by phone” and “Need to talk to Suzie about this one.”

To set up a custom status…

  1. Click the dropdown link and select Custom.
  2. Then, type the status you would like to display.
  3. Click the box to the status to apply a color.
  4. Then, click Apply.
